This is the Reddings Hill trig point (147m) near Wingate, Hartlepool.

From the car park, follow the road W, under the bridge and past a kennels.

Once past the kennels, turn right to head north down a good track.

Keep your eyes peeled for a style in the hedge row on the left.

This takes you through a field and up the side of a stable block before coming to a wider track.

Turn right on this track, turning left when the track forks.

Keep on this track as is passes Holiday Pods and skirts the edge of two fields.

At the end of the second field, turn left following the hedge line. Watch our for a gap in the hedge.

Go through the gap and the trig pillar is on the left in the corner of the field.

The route is 2km with 50m of ascent.
