Penshaw Hill Trig Point

This is the Penshaw Hill trig point (136m) near Sunderland.

From Herrington Country Park, head back to the entrance, then cross the road to the entry gate to the Penshaw Monument. Walk up the steps and the trig point can be found behind the monument.

It is less than 1km from the car park to the trig point.
