Langlee Crags

On the north east banks of Hedgehope Hill are a number of spectacular crags including the Langlee Crags.

The crags up here are actually small volcanic plugs. Langlee Crags has a distinct double header of rock protruding from the face of the hill along with a smattering of rocks in front and swept behind.

This area of crags is probably one of my favourite places in the Cheviots as once you are up here you can visit loads of other crags including Housey Crags, Tathey Crags, Steel Crag, Long Crags and Middleton Crags.

To get here park at the little grassy area at Langleeford in the Harthope Valley and then from the parking, just cross the bridge and follow the path up towards Housey Crags. Then there is a clear path across to the Langlee Crags.
