High Copelaw Farm Trig Point

This is the High Copelaw Farm trig point (95m) near Newton Aycliffe.

From the layby, walk up the road slightly and then turn left up the farm track.

Walk through the farmyard, asking permission from the lovely farmer to visit the trig.

At the end of the farmyard, go through the gate and turn left.

Go through another gate and head to the end of the field without entering the next field.

Turn right and follow the hedge until you reach a rickety gate near a water trough.

Hop over gate with care as the trig is on the other side of the hedge.
