Wholehope Knowe sits just west of Kidland Forest near Alwinton and sitting at 443m it's a decent hike to get to. Fortunately there are clear tracks for most of the hike.
Easiest way is to park in Alwinton and then head straight up Clennel Street towards Kidland Forest then do a little diversion west on to the peak of Wholhope Knowe.
Nothing exciting to see up here or anything significant marking the top. However you can get canny views over Shillhope Law.

There is a big grassy area in the centre of the village outside the pub. Alternatively follow the road around 100m to a National Park car parking area with loos.
