If you're bagging trig points in Northumberland also doing the Cheviot 99 Challenge, then hills like Hungry Law are a double delight.
Hungry Law is perched above Catcleugh Reservoir in Byrness and it's a pretty easy route to get to, although a little bit of a climb.
From the parking just follow the permissive path through the forest and all the way up to Hungry Law. You will also bag Sandy Pike on the way and if you make a little diversion you can also tick off Echo Crags too.
Follow the route above or find it on OS Maps. Just over 3.5km to the top and 266m of climbing.
For more hills to bag and beautiful scenery, check out our walk around Byrness, Hungry Law, Lumsdon Law and Echo Crags.
