Hare Law is located in the north west of the Northumberland National Park and sits adjacent to Newton Tors.
There is a fabulous cairn on top along with some rocky outcrops, so when you see these, then you are at the top. At 518m tall it's a decent climb, but you are rewarded with amazing views.
Closest place to park is probably the Mounthooly Bunkhouse, although you will need a day pass to park here. Then just follow the road north before heading over Sutherland Bridge following the permissive path all the way to to the top.
Follow the route above or find it on OS Maps.
Around 6.5km and 349m worth of climbing. If you also fancy bagging other nearby hill like Easter Tor and Yeavering Bell, then follow this Yeavering Bell And Newton Tors Walk.
